I’ve always been mesmerised by the way light interacts with water, the way it dances and transforms with every movement of the surface. This piece captures a single moment within that performance: a freeze frame where natural flow meets sudden disruption, a brief disturbance. The colour palette was inspired by Australian creeks and their natural green tone, although this one is exaggerated. I would always stare into the water as a kid wondering how to mimic that specific colour and as I'm growing older, I think I'm getting close. Introducing: Disturbed.
